Mar 20 2020

How can I access to Career Coaches and Career Resources?

Career Connection will continue services through phone and video appointments to make an appointment call 403-410-3203 or email careerconnection@bowvalleycollege.ca. When Career Coaches call you for your appointment a “No Caller ID” call will show up on your phone.

For online career resources, you can access our website mycareerconnection.ca

Additional career resources and tip sheets can be found at https://alis.alberta.ca

Will there be any online Employer Events or Hot Topics?

Yes, we will be organizing online webinar-style events with both employers and guest speakers for Hot Topics in late March and during the entire month of April. To stay up-to-date on our career events sign up for our email communications on our home page at mycareerconnection.ca.

Is it worthwhile trying to find work when so many companies are closing during the COVID-19 situation? Should I just wait until it is over?

This is a time of employment disruption. While some opportunities for work are reduced, there are areas where demand for employees has increased. A Career Coach at Career Connection can help you identify new opportunities.

When will Career Connection re-open?

During these rapidly changing times, we currently are unsure of when Career Connection and Bow Valley College will re-open to the public. We will be communicating updates as we receive them through our email list.

If you have questions after reading the FAQs, please feel free to call 403-410-3203 or text 403-616-7342 or email
